FarmSmart - Bega app for iPhone and iPad

FarmSmart is an online system in both desktop and mobile platforms that enables dairy farmers in Australia to record their on-farm activities to demonstrate safe and sustainable work practices.

FarmSmart includes smart tools that will help farmers manage their on farm QA program, potentially avoiding product quality issues and improving on farm efficiency.

The system includes chemical application records applied to pastures or stockfeed. Application records are checked against industry guidelines and label rates. Pasture withholding periods are calculated from these records and displayed as timelines or tabular data.
FarmSmart includes a stock treatment recording function that calculates withholding periods for dairy cattle for both milk and meat.
Both the paddock and animal chemical treatment system are supported by a database of the chemicals used by farmers and their agents.

Soil test results are recorded and displayed as a colour coded map indicating if a result is at, above or below predefined values.
FarmSmart includes a mapping function on the desktop version that is viewable on mobile platforms.
Some third party systems are integrated into FarmSmart including quality assurance reporting and hazard mapping.
